Nearing the Year's End

Well it was a great Bailey Christmas and much fun was had by all. Abbey (the dog) looked especially festive in her special Christmas sweater. Luckily none of us tried to out-do her ensemble. The food was great and the company was even better. We enjoyed all the typical Canadian Christmas cliches: skating at the outdoor ice rink, a matinee viewing of the play"Peter Pan" (thanks again Meg), indulging in Christmas baking and piling on the couch to watch "The Grinch".

Now I prepare for a quiet New Year's Eve. No plans as of yet, but I am sure something will materialize.

Sigh.... and I still get one more week of holidays!
