Where has grammar gone?

I was recently reading my cousin Meg's post about the decline of the english language in modern society and it really got me thinking. She's exactly right! Now I am definitely not one of those who claims to use perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation (you'll probably find many errors in this post itself) but somethings are just plain unacceptable! Take yesterday for example... my friend Kathleen and I went down Jasper Ave to scope out some print production places for our Des 490 class. It was a long day, so we stopped for a light lunch at a cute corner cafe. We were commenting on how many badly designed store-front signs there are out there when we stumbled across the worst of the worst.

"Condo's for Sale"

Now you think that someone along the way of producing this sign would notice of this BASIC grammatical error! Apparently nobody cares anymore and it is only a matter of time before everyone is saying, "c u l8r"

If it's supposed to be posessive, it's just 'its', but if it's supposed to be a contraction, it's "i-t-apostrophe-s"!
Scalawag!

Sing it with me, people!!!!
